Connect

Every project's needs are different but more often after a project agreement is in place stages include research, creative strategy, design, and implementation.

Pre-Agreement

Intro

This is a chance for us to connect and for me to understand how I can support your goals. You can share details about your business and your vision for the brand's future.

Usually I can provide an estimated price and timeline, and if it fits your budget, I’ll send a detailed proposal.

Pre-Agreement

Proposal

The proposal outlines the schedule, deliverables, fixed pricing, and terms. At this stage you can adjust the scope to fit your budget or add design elements if needed.

The first invoice (50% of the total) is sent once you're ready to start. The remaining balance is due upon completion before the final files are delivered.

One

REsearch

Depending on your business's size and stage, I review its trading history, target market, competitors, and brand positioning. This process includes site visits, interviews, and research.

Key questions like: Who is your product for? What changes do you want to make? What are the challenges? help set the direction. Once the company vision is clear, creating a lasting design becomes much easier.

Two

Creative strategy

The strategy is about creating a plan and finding visual inspiration through research. It sets clear expectations for how the brand identity will evolve, avoiding surprises during design presentations.

Some projects include moodboards with 2-3 identity directions, using imagery to inspire design choices. This helps decide the right visuals, colors, and typography that align with your business goals, industry, and audience. It serves as a benchmark for all design decisions.

Three

Design

It usually takes a few weeks to create a design presentation for client review. Since the plan is already approved, only one or two ideas are typically shown.

The presentation includes mock-ups to show how the designs will work in real-life situations. Feedback on how the designs align with the original plan is key, and revisions are always possible to ensure the best outcome.

Four

final designs

Everything is designed so that implementation (roll-out) is as efficient as possible. That might mean setting up social media profiles and creating a range of posts, making sure the identity guidelines are tailored for international offices, or talking with print firms on cost-effectiveness of specific print finishes — it depends on what’s most helpful and beneficial for the client.

Bonus

Even months after a project is completed, I always encourage clients to reach out with any questions about the design.
